Mr. C.R. Esswein, a former math instructor at Michigan State, and his wife Rene' owned a computer store before moving to the Nashville area. At the computer store, Mrs.Esswein became aware of the many complaints of laptop users who wanted to elevate the keyboard to prevent a strain on their wrists, shoulders, neck, and back. Recognizing the need for ergonomic products that would help most keyboard users, Rene' invented the Laptop Buddy and received a U.S. Patent for her invention. As you sit your laptop on Laptop Buddy's little portable table you will find that your laptop will be sitting at about a 40 degree angle. The wristpad at the base of Laptop Buddy will also be supporting your wrist at the same time. Data entry and Keying are far more comfortable with the "Laptop Buddy" Lift. Your laptop screen can be viewed more easily as your laptop is lifted "up" closer to eye level. Most people have found that this reduces a lot of strain overall on them as they are keying.
